They can initiate and then pull out of slide tackles early, to get on their feet again (just click the slide button again to fifa points account cheap cancel). They can even keep pace with the fastest of opponents. If a player is beaten by an on-coming attacker that doesn't mean they're out of the game and it makes a big difference.
Now, you're just as likely to find success passing the ball around. I've never been particularly good at it, but I've always enjoyed playing football games by passing in tidy little triangles. Tiki-taka nonsense.
